This page explains what we collect when you take the IQ test on this website, why we collect it, and how to have it removed. The site is owned and operated by Yassine Belatar and can be reached at [email protected].
Nothing is required to start the test, and there is no account or password. When you finish it, the form asks for four things: your name, your email address, your age and your gender.
Alongside those, we store the result itself: the answer you gave to each question, your score, how long the test took you, the language you took it in, and the country your connection resolves to. If you reached us through an advert, we also store the click identifier that came with the link so we can tell which advert worked.
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your card number.
Your name, score and answers exist so we can show you your result and put your certificate in your name. Your email address exists so you can recover your result later if you lose the link, and so we can send it to you.
Age, gender, country and duration are used in aggregate, to compare scores across groups and to keep the test calibrated. Click identifiers are used only to measure advertising.
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the services that make the site work:
Each of these handles your data under its own privacy policy.
We set a session cookie so the test and the payment step work, and a cookie that remembers your advert click identifier for 30 days. Google Tag Manager may set its own cookies for analytics. Blocking cookies in your browser will not stop you taking the test, but the payment step may not complete.
We keep your result for as long as the site runs, so that you can come back to it or recover it by email. If you ask us to delete it, we remove it from our server.
Your result lives at a private link containing a random code, and result pages are excluded from search engines. Anyone you send that link to can see the result, so treat it as you would any private link.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send you, which removes your data and stops all further email.
